BizTalk360 provides the options to save and delete the query expressions as provided by the BizTalk Admin Console. Users can save the queries for easy access in future.


Saving The Query Expression

To save the query expression, follow the steps as shown below:

  1. Log in to the BizTalk360 application
  2. Click the 'Operations' tab in the navigation panel
  3. Click the expand button against 'ESB Portal' tab and select 'ESB Exception Data' link
  4. Select the appropriate filter criteria (if any), and click Execute Query. Click here to know about the different fields in the query builder.
  5. BizTalk360 v8.0 allows users to export the Query Results. Click Export to Excel link to download the report to your computer.
  6. Once the query results are available, click the Save Query icon (floppy disk icon) to save the query
  7. In the Manage Queries page, enter the name to save the query expression
  8. Click Save to save the query expression


Once the query is saved, the tab name will be renamed with the name of the query.


BizTalk360 allows the users to open up to 4 tabs at a time to execute multiple queries. To open a new tab, click the + button. To close the tabs individually, click the * button next to the tab name. To close all the tabs in one click, click the X button next to the + button.

Save As (Saving An Already Saved Query Expression With A New Name)

To save an already saved query expression with a new name, follow the steps as shown below

  1. Log in to the BizTalk360 application
  2. Click the 'Operations' tab in the navigation panel
  3. Click the expand button against 'ESB Portal' tab and select 'ESB Exception Data' link
  4. Click the Open Saved Query icon (folder icon). Select the query name from the list to open the saved query
  5. The tab name will be renamed with the name of the query and the saved filter criteria will be displayed under the Build Query Expression section.
  6. Click the Save Query As icon (files icon). In the Manage Queries page, enter the new name to save the query expression
  7. Click Save to save the query expression

Opening The Saved Query Expression

To open the saved query expression, follow the steps as shown below:

  1. Log in to the BizTalk360 application
  2. Click the 'Operations' tab in the navigation panel
  3. Click the expand button against 'ESB Portal' tab and select 'ESB Exception Data' link
  4. Click the Open Saved Query icon (folder icon). Select the query name from the list to open the saved query
  5. The tab name will be renamed with the name of the query and the saved filter criteria will be displayed under the Build Query Expression section.
  6. Click Execute Query to generate the query results.
  7. BizTalk360 v8.0 allows users to export the Query Results. Click Export to Excel link to download the report to your computer.

Deleting The Saved Query Expression

To delete the saved query expression, follow the steps as shown below:

  1. Log in to the BizTalk360 application
  2. Click the 'Operations' tab in the navigation panel
  3. Click the expand button against 'ESB Portal' tab and select 'ESB Exception Data' link
  4. Click the Delete Queries icon (trash bin icon)
  5. In the Manage Queries page, click the delete icon (trash bin icon) against the query name that has to be deleted
  6. The query will be deleted from the list. Click the button to exit from the Manage Queries page.
