In this article, we will take a look at the steps to edit the notification channel information. Please note that you can only edit the name of the notification channel and toggle the initial status of the channel (either enabled/disabled). The process remains the same for both the pre-defined notification channels. Follow the steps as shown below to edit the notification channel information -

  1. Log in to the BizTalk360 application (as a Super user)
  2. Click the 'Settings' icon found at the top right corner of the page
  3. Click 'Monitoring and Notification' from the Menu panel on the left side of the screen
  4. Click Manage Notification Channels
  5. Select the checkbox against one of the Channel name; for instance B360.Notifier.SlackNotification
  6. Click Edit
    • Channel Name - Enter a friendly name for the notification channel, say Slack Notifications
    • Initial Status - Uncheck the check box if you do not want the slack notification channel to be enabled by default
      Please note that both the Slack and ServiceNow Notification Channels will be Enabled (by Default) when BizTalk360 v8.0 is installed/upgraded to this version
      You cannot make any changes to the Logo and DLL Name
  7. Click the Save button to save the changes
  8. Once you click Save, you will notice that the Channel Name field reflects the new name for the notification channel, and the Status field reflects the initial status
