During BizTalk360 upgrade, there may be times when the validation fails for "Monitoring Service username/password verified" section. One of the main reasons for this step to fail is when the service account username is not provided in the "DOMAIN\Username" format. (say, for instance, the user name is provided as SvcBizTalk360@network.com). To solve this issue, follow the steps as shown below -


  1. Open services.msc
  2. Right click on BizTalk360 Monitoring Service and select Properties
  3. Select the Log On tab, and upgrade the credentials in the DOMAIN\USERNAME format
  4. Try to run the installer
