There might have been situations when you opened your project in Visual Studio and noticed that several files opened up as a consequence. If you want to locate where these files are within the project structure, there is no simple way you can achieve this in Visual Studio. At present, you need to check the full path first and then manually navigate to the file in the solution explorer. BizTalk NoS Ultimate add-in's "Locate it" feature offers an easy way to accomplish this. Another advantage of the locate it feature is that even if the solution explorer window is not opened, this feature will find the file and automatically open the Solution Explorer window.
Locating the file
Follow the steps as shown below to locate a file using the BizTalk NoS Ultimate Addin:
- Once the BizTalk NoS Ultimate add-in has been installed, open Visual Studio. You will notice the NoS Add-in icons in the solution explorer section.
- Navigate to the file in the work space, right click file name in the tab and select Locate It!
- If the solution explorer window is not opened, you will notice that it gets opened and the file gets highlighted in the solution explorer window
