The deploy assembly functionality of BizTalk NoS Ultimate add-in helps to deploy a BizTalk Assembly directly from the "bin" directory in Visual Studio environment. All you have to do is to navigate to the folder that contains the project's DLL file that has to be deployed (usually this is located in \bin\debug in Visual Studio) and trigger the "Deploy Assembly" feature. This is very similar to the Add/Update resource functionality in BizTalk server administration console. With this feature, you can easily deploy the assembly right from Visual Studio that makes the entire process faster than the native method.

Deploying the Assembly

Follow the steps as shown below to deploy an assembly using BizTalk NoS Ultimate add-in:

  1. Once the BizTalk NoS Ultimate add-in has been installed, open Visual Studio. You will notice the NoS Add-in icons in the solution explorer section.
  2. Select a project from the list. Right click the project name and select "Deploy Assembly" under "BizTalk NoS"
  3. You will notice a command prompt firing up automatically with the status of deploying the assembly. Once the process is complete, you will be prompted with a message as "Press any key to continue ..." in the command prompt.
Please note that you need to make the appropriate settings in the BizTalk NoS Ultimate Settings screen in order for the Deploy Assembly functionality to work as expected.

Click the sliders to view the process of deploying the assembly.
